I Can't Believe I Forgot My Anniversary

My first blog post was October 12, 2008, Obama is "Door No. 2":
As in Let's Make a Deal, choosing Door No. 2 carries great risks. So does choosing Obama.

Obama may be a post-racial healer, or he may be someone who carefully uses race and false accusations of racism to advance his political career. Obama may not have known about Jeremiah Wright's political race-baiting, or he may have known but not cared. Obama may be someone who views this country as inherently good, or he may secretly share the views of his political enabler, William Ayers, that this country is inherently bad. We may know Obama better than Jeremiah Wright and William Ayers know Obama, or we may not know Obama at all.

Obama may be everything good, or the promise Obama embodies may just be a figment of our own imagination.
Can I now get the Nobel Prize for Being Right?

The motivation for that first post is here.

  1. William, I enjoy your blog and your thinking.

Your first blog post was surprisingly diplomatic. I watched Obama give two speeches and concluded he was arrogant, immature, not a particularly good speaker, and intentionally obscuring what was a very socialist agenda, which I personally consider unethical.

I never could understand the 'Obama as orator' meme. I could never understand the supposed general idea that he was a centrist. He was obviously left of Clinton, if that is possible. He was the most dangerous person in the Presidential race. Always obviously was.

Any news about his career, his pastor, his mentors, his parents, and his intentional obsession and identification with an absent black, communist father did nothing but affirm the slant of his words and demeanor.

I'm sure you also remember the famed day of the 'bi-partisan' health care meeting in which he dominated the discussion, spoke with demeaning and petulance voice, and generally obstructed. If I lead a meeting like that, I would be chastised by my colleagues and upbraided by my superiors.

And yet the press seemed to appreciate it. I'm still not sure if those are the necessary traits of political bureaucrats, or the continued meme by a press that intentionally blurred Obama's true nature for the simple reason that race acts as an effective barrier to what is arguably the most socialist regime in the world today.

Lastly, I never found him particularly intelligent. His answers tend to be plebeian, overly simplistic socialist claptrap and therefore as predictable as it comes. Remember when he told us he didn't bother to talk to BP because he knew what he'd say? Good lord, what a childish world view he has.

Thank you for the hard work you put into your blog. May the Chicago machine fail to make a significant mark on one of the most important elections in generations.

  5. Happy B-day and bring on the Terrible Twos!

Hey, you must check out the new Vote Fraud App just launched. Very cool... needs to get around.

I heard John Fund on Fox earlier today... he said the most important weapon against fraud is the fear that people are watching... and so many people today have the ability with their phones & other elec devices to document and report. So just the IDEA of this Vote Fraud App, and talking it up, has an effect.
