In case you haven't noticed, I have a hard time not sipping at the Coffee Party cup:
- The True Measure of Just How Far The Coffee Party Has Fallen
- Coffee Party Accused Of "Orwellian" Tactics ... By Supporter
- Coffee Party Grows Cold
- Post About Coffee Party Decline Removed From Its Website
- Coffee Party Constitution
- What If You Threw A Coffee Party, And Mostly Middle-Aged White Males Showed Up?
- Coffee Party Parasites
Should I do another Coffee Party post, or not?
[Note: Some weirdness with the code, if you see two "Submit" buttons, the left one is to Vote, the right to View. Don't get paranoid on me, we're using Harry Reid's programmers, so all is good.]
Update 5:40 p.m. - As of now it is 59% No, 41% Yes, but several precincts in Chicago and Cleveland have not yet reported their results.
Update 10-27-2010 8:30 a.m. - Polls have closed. All results reported. 58% No, 42% Yes. Damn you. Doesn't anyone know how to steal an election anymore?

I'm just amazed to learn the "Coffee Party" is still around. Didn't they wither from lack anyone caring?
ReplyDeleteI see by the vote that you're 50/50 in the poll. What to do?! Haha - go for it! ;)
ReplyDeleteAs a moderator on the twitter support group The Coffee Klatch I resent the Coffee Party and dislike tremendously when people mistake us for them. We, at the COFFEE KLATCH, actually do something to help people and provide support for parents of special needs children. We cover everything from education(including law and support services)/therapeutic topics, to how to take care of yourself, to also having on relevant guests such as the wonderful Dr. Temple Grandin. Plus we have open chat where people can just seek support from the wider community and not feel so isolated. Actually if anyone wants or needs information please go to http://thecoffeeklatch.com
ReplyDeleteOh one more thing, leave your politics at the door if you come, our topics are actually about our children's immediate quality of life and some of our chatters even are dealing with their child's death.
I have the same addiction! Something about those Coffee Party folks fascinates me. I think it has to do with a train wreck . . .
ReplyDeleteI find that if I don't follow the coffee party daily, I get bad headaches and have trouble sleeping.
ReplyDeleteProf Jacobson, enjoyed hearing you on Helen Glover's show, was hoping you'd be on longer. Anywho, wanted to share this item I read on Judicial Watch's website with you. Would appreciate you looking into this. I googled for more info on Phacil, and they are an Indian outsourcing corporation Obama Treasury Dept. hires Indian firm Phacil 2 exempt TARP & Stimulus records from FOIA requests http://www.judicialwatch.org/blog/2010/oct/treasury-dept-hir

Public shame is the best deterrent. Keep on posting them.
ReplyDeletethe coffee party is an artificial creation of the media. don't feed the beast.
ReplyDeleteabsent a new issue brewing to roast them over, i'd say the Coffee Party as a story has reached the dregs, and that you have punished them enough.
ReplyDeleteIf you quit we will all miss out on this very important information about their gatherings:
ReplyDelete"She met there in a brightly lit cafeteria", wtf?
I think it's fascinating how many times they keep trying to make coffee news from the same old, clogged filter.
ReplyDeleteSo I say keep posting 'em.
Continued posting of articles about the lamestream media trying to pump air into the leaky Coffee Party Balloon is indeed worthwhile. Never give the LSM a break for their shameless propagandizing in the name of Socialism.
