Reid Birthright Video Found

Looks like Republican opposition researchers finally are getting their act together in countering the Reid campaign machine, as they unearthed video of Harry Reid forcefully arguing against birthright citizenship for children of illegal aliens in 1993.

I posted extensively on Reid's non-apology apology the other day.

Update: Sorry, I forgot to insert the All-Purpose Democratic Party Quote of the Day:
"This just makes the Dems look weak, unorganized, cowardly, and unwilling to take a stand for principles they plainly believe in."

  1. Look at Harry, young, vibrant, clueless to understanding the issue.

Yet, 17 years ago, same as my youngest born, he has survived still, not understanding the issues.

I have faith in Nevada. Ted was dead when we voted for Scott Brown. But I think the people have learned there's nothing to wait for, the time is now. Sharon Angle, although not perfect has more dignity than poor Harry.

  2. Harry Reid introduced his Immigration Stabilization Act in 1993. The clarification of the birthright portion of the 14th amendment, which he discusses in this video, was only a small piece of it. The bill was very comprehensive and included tough enforcement on all levels to fight illegal immigration....the bill was an anti-illegal immigration activist's dream. He also introduced the bill again in 1994, so any excuse by Reid that he had a temporary mental lapse which caused him to introduce such a bill is baloney.

Yes, once upon a time, Harry Reid was an American patriot. So, what happened?

  3. "Yes, once upon a time, Harry Reid was an American patriot. So, what happened?"

As Ronald Reagan said: "I didn't leave the Democratic Party. The party left me." The Democrats left the America. Harry Reid went with them.

  4. Totally unfair quoting him here - he was just a 54 year old kid at the time he said this stuff.

  5. Harry Reid sold out. He did what so many in Washington do, played the game to get the power. And the position. And the money.

Simply saying he is a party hack doesn't explain the complete sold-out verbiage of this last 2+ years (the 2008 campaign included). Yes, the Dem party has left America - and seems bent on destroying everything the Founders established. Harry is like the cliched movie characters who "sold their souls to the devil" to get what they want. A sad little man, now only able to lie, attack, destroy.

Please, Nevada - vote him out!! Thank you!

BTW - loved the video today; I'd forgotten about that song! Why all the "videos of doom"? Don't lose hope! We have November to look forward to - REAL change we can believe in! Hold on and keep the faith, professor! :D

  6. Reid is one of many examples why two terms in Congress is all any representative should have. Vote them in and out on a regular basis.

  7. Wow. Even Harry Reid gets it right once in a while. Who knew?
