The End Is Near

Don't get distracted by all the distractions the Dems are throwing up (pun intended).

Keep on message:  The Dems are ruining the economy, suffocating business, stealing from our grandchildren, and trying to control every aspect of our lives.

Let the blithering idiots and hacks with degrees whine about Christine O'Donnell's Linked-In page, call us the Taliban, and drop as many October surprises as they want.

Focus.  The end is near.

  4. A couple of days ago, the UN named an ambassador for greeting any space aliens who might pay us a visit. Yesterday, a picture of a "demon-eyed" Hillary went viral on the internet. And today, UC-Santa Cruz scientists found an inhabitable Earth-like planet within driving distance to Earth.

I think I know where this is going. Divine intervention.

  5. Here's a simple paragraph the Republicans could run that would really put the Dems on defense.

22 months of Obama has given us record deficits, record unemployment, record bank failures, record foreclosures, record poverty rate, failing dollar, foreign policy disasters, record number of golf games played by a president, record death toll in Afghanistan, consumer confidence at record lows, auto bailout money being used to build a plant in Mexico, ME-Chelle with a record number of personal assistants, the worst environmental disaster in the US largely ignored and exploited for political gain, SEC now immune from FOIA, internet wiretaps made easier, executive order used to assassinate Americans overseas, don't ask don't tell still on, Gitmo still open, secret wiretaps still on, lobbyists, corporations and special interests still have unimpeded access to members of Congress, a 'Safe Schools Czar' who is pedophile friendly, record number of unelected and unaccountable Czars...

In fact, if the Republicans were smart, they'd ask if we were better off than we were four years ago.

  6. "The end is near".

I think it is more accurate to say that the end of the beginning is near.

This election is not a really major goal unto itself. Bear in mind, we are no more guaranteed success due to winning this election than were the liberals in 2006 and 2008...

There is a corner this nation needs to turn in order to begin moving forward in a new and sustainable direction and the formidable energy of essentially the entire political establishment will be directed at preventing us from turning that corner.

This election is just the beginning of the process that will enable us to develop the control and energy to make that turn.

To use a football analogy, this election is a first down, not a touchdown or even a field goal. It is early in the first quarter of the game and the other team is ahead by 20 points.

  7. You folks are forgetting the fact that vote counting is under the control of the states. The relevant official in each state is the "Secretary of State".

Look at who is in those positions and how they got there.

  9. To quote Napolean "Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake."

The Dems have been making mistakes for a long time now, which are too long to repeat. Stay focused for the election and keep encouraging the Democrats to keep doing what they are doing as it will result in their defeat this November.
