While some governments are expressing shock, shock, shock that an intelligence agency would forge passports, Mossad mania has taken over Israel, according to a report in The Times of London.
Israelis are flocking to join the agency and even to buy eyeglasses similar to those worn by the agents (image right):
But there is a more important possibility. Suddenly, all middle-aged, slightly overweight, somewhat disheveled guys will become objects of desire. The Israeli spy agency Mossad may be the target of international reproach since it allegedly killed the Hamas leader Mahmoud al-Mabhouh in a Dubai hotel this month, but at home emerging details of the operation have generated Mossad mania.
It has never been more popular in Israel, with stores selling out of Mossad memorabilia and its official website reporting a soaring number of visitors interested in applying to become agents....
Opticians have reported a rise in sales of the horn-rimmed glasses in the style worn by 14 of the 26 suspects,
Just saying. Not that I would care if such a thing happened.

According to Caroline Glick, the Dubai investigators discovered that at least two of the suspects fled to Iran following the hit.
ReplyDeleteIf true, they would disprove Mossad's involvement, wouldn't it? Can anyone really imagine Iran being a safe haven for an Israeli Jew?
Of course, I would love for Mossad to be the one's responsible. But it just shows how everything is immediately blamed on the Joooos before the facts ever come to light.
One thing that bothers me about this whole "Massad" theory; it is now reported that over 20 people were involved.
ReplyDeleteSince when would Massad involve so many people that have the ability to be filmed? Does anyone think that Massad would not know where the cameras were and would avoid them at all times? And why would Massad send so many to do the hit? The more people involved in something like this, the bigger the risk of being found out or having the mission go bad.
Just a thought.
