I also think he should have to write "I am sorry for being a mean person" 200 times on the blackboard, then wash his mouth out with soap, then sit in the corner with a dunce cap on. I am open to other suggestions.
Via Renee Ellmers for Congress. Have I found Race No. 2?
(By the way, I love her media operation for getting this video out so quickly. Maybe I'll take them up on their offer of an interview. What do you think?)

Now what would be the lamestream media's judgment of appropriate punishment if the Congressman were a republican/conservative, or the assaulter were a tea partier and not a liberal democrat? Or to put it another way, if an aside comment about a democrat candidate's hair, is 'almost disqualifying' and a jocular 'macaca' comment is also deemed to be 'disqualifying' then it follows that the unprovoked assault upon a citizen questioner by a sitting representative must result in his resignation from office or at the very least his statement that he will not seek re-election.
ReplyDeleteIt's Obama who set the tone... HE is the one with "get in their face", "hit back twice as hard", and gonna "kick ass" while Salazar puts his "boot on their throat". What the HELL is this, the Third Reich?
ReplyDeleteNow this arrogant clown Etheridge thinks it OK to get violent with an innocent reporter asking a question… and in the most polite fashion imaginable- who cares what his motivations were or weren't.
What a horrible example Team Obama and allied union thugs have set for their minions.. who now feel free to lash out like punks at any who dare question them.
And anyone who still considers Obama some sort of unifier ought to have their head examined- seriously
I'm surprised you haven't ripped Greg Sargent apart for smearing Sharron Angle again today. He's twisted her words around to say she's floating the idea for an armed insurrection when in fact she specifically said she hopes it doesn't come to that.
ReplyDeleteShe paraphrased Thomas Jefferson (who did say he thought the county might engage in revolution every couple of decades), she referenced the Second Amendment, and she noted the angst people have with the direction of Congress. And she said she hoped it doesn't come to revolution.
And from that Sargent says she's floating the idea for armed insurrection.
No brainer: take them up on the interview! Why deny all of us the opportunity to listen to your silken, professorial voice (assuming that you are clean and articulate, or course).
ReplyDeleteI'm confused, I thought ripping the arm off of the questioner meant he was fervantly throwing the president under the bus?
ReplyDelete@Reaganite Republican:
ReplyDeleteAnd don't forget this one: “If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun”.
KitKat apparently the second amendment is still not operative in DC, so the victim of this assault did not legally have that option.
