This RabbiLive Guy Better Get His Priorities Straight

He put his son's education ahead of a blockbuster blog post, Rabbi sat on Thomas scoop as webmaster-son took exams:

When veteran journalist Helen Thomas made inflammatory remarks about Israel, the comments weren't captured by a major news organization. Instead, a rabbi and his 17-year-old son broke the story.

Right now, Rabbi David Nesenoff is drawing lots of new visitors to RabbiLive.com and its video of the dean of the White House press corps (now abruptly retired) telling Israel to "get the hell out of Palestine." Although Nesenoff's site is getting buzz and media pickup, the rabbi actually sat on the big scoop for a week....

Even though Nesenoff had the story, he still needed to get it online. But [his son] Adam, the webmaster for RabbiLive, had to get through finals first.

What is this world coming to?

  1. I think the young man in putting his studies first did just the right thing. He was the first person to put Helen Thomas in her place - at the bottom of his list. Johathan Swift would approve. Honest pursuits above Yahoos.

  2. Sat of the story for a week. I guess that Helen Thomas sat on the story for a week too. Imagine if the Clinton machine became aware that that kind of a story was sequestered or at least delayed for some reason. They would have parachuted James Carville in like Jack Bauer to somehow get ahead of it. I'm giddy just thinking that Bill and Hill were aware of Thomas' attitude after all. If they were, consider the depth of malice and vengence harbored by the Clintons that would let it finally break all over President Barak Obama. "Secretary Clinton, were you aware of Helen Thomas' attitude on Israel? Are you aware of any other press corp reporters who share this view? Does President Clinton have a like opinion of Israel and the diaspora?"

  3. Unquestionably the most perplexing headline I've seen in decades . . . from Michael Walsh at Big Journalism.

"Helen Thomas: Celebrated For Her Sex, Not For Her Accomplishments".

    I am speechless!
