Exclusive State of the Union Preview

A lot of people have been playing Waterloo in the wake of the Scott Brown victory in Massachusetts. That's history.

Here's the future. An exclusive preview of Obama's upcoming State of the Union address this Wednesday (btw, we'll be "live" again):
Where are those happy days, they seem so hard to find
I try to reach for you, but you have closed your mind
Whatever happened to our love
I wish I understood
It used to be so nice, it used to be so good

  1. Wow - sooooo many years trying to forget this song!

I'll defintely be on your live feed for SOTU. Election day was FUN.

  2. Oh, c'mon. If you're going to show the true level of horror of that song (and the quality of acting we'll see from President Chicken Little when he delivers the SOTUA), you really need to post this version.

  3. Woohoo! LI going live for the debate? I can't wait. I, for one, will be stocked up on something delicious and alcohol-filled for the usual BO speech drinking game (something Michelle Malkin linked to last year, fall maybe or late summer).

This one will take a new list of "drink up" cues, though. He's still going to "me, myself, and I," "historic/unprecedented," and "let me be clear" us to death, but now we can look forward to lots of "I'm a regular Joe, just like you" (but NOT like Joe the Plumber because he really does go to diners and sit in barber's chairs . . . and he probably clings to his guns and religion, too!).

But then, maybe not, all the Bush blaming will be enough to put anyone in an alcohol-induced coma.

  4. The Obama Presidency through the lyrics of ABBA... I love it!

  5. When I think of Obama winning the Presidency, all I can think to say is "MAMMA MIA!"

  6. And don't forget the attitude of the Dems for the last year that led to victory last Tuesday - "The Winner Takes it All!"
