Harry Reid Seeks to Cap Off His Extremist Agenda

Harry Reid, having brought you the Stimulus Plan and Obamacare, now is set to push cap-and-trade legislation before Congress goes into recess:

Senate and House Democrats are headed for a clash this week over funding for U.S. troops in Afghanistan, as Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) races to clear the schedule for long-awaited energy reform legislation....

Time is of the essence, as Reid has pledged to begin the energy debate the week of July 26. That would give Democrats two weeks to pass energy reform and confirm Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan by the August recess, scheduled to begin Aug. 6

What a fitting lead up to the fall election between Reid and Sharron Angle. A more clear choice could not be had -- the ultimate big government, big tax, big spender will be on trial.

Which is why Reid's campaign has spent several million dollars knocking down Angle, and why Reid refuses to debate for several months.

Reid cannot and will not defend what he has done and wants to do to the country, so all he can do is demonize Angle as an extremist.

But Reid is the real extremist, pushing an agenda which is opposed by the American people. When you lose your private health insurance, can't see your doctor, your taxes rise, and your electric rates go through the roof, you will be the victim of Reid's extremism.

The question is, can Reid hide from his record long enough to hold onto the seat?
