Beware Of Drowning Democrats

Danger:
"Drowning victims are probably the most dangerous to try to rescue. In a panic, drowning victims are likely to claw at rescuers and climb to the surface at all costs."
Danger:
"The Democratic Party is moving faster and more aggressively than in previous election years to dig up unflattering details about Republican challengers. In House races from New Jersey to Ohio to California, Democratic operatives are seizing on evidence of GOP candidates' unpaid income taxes, property tax breaks and ties to financial firms that received taxpayer bailout money.... Democratic officials are advising campaigns to hire trackers to follow their Republican opponents to public events with video cameras, ready to catch any gaffe or misstatement."

They're going to have a tough job -- we already know that Democrats consider assault and battery on someone carrying a camera to be perfectly acceptable.

  2. So.. the left wants to "hire" trackers to dig up dirt on the right. Is this their idea of a jobs program?

  3. Wendy scores, but Rob misses. Just as gun control laws only disarm those who obey the law, leaving criminals with a clear field to do their dirty work, so the Dems will have a clear field...
Remember "Mukaka" (Sen. Allen) vs "n****r" (Sen.Byrd) and the inappropriate emails to interns (Foley) vs having sex with interns (Studds, who got a standing "O" plus choice assignment). Any Republican who dares to stick a tongue out will pay a price, while Dems get cover from that other arm of their party - the media.

Many Dems feel that their party has been stolen from them. They realize that JFK would get the Lieberman treatment, and they don't like it! We need to reach out to them and help them to understand that the way to regain their party is to vote Republican, and chase the Left out of power! Any chance we have of saving our country depends on this coming election

  4. The old tried and true tactic of the MSM staying silent on any perceived Democratic transgressions (Witness Charlie Rangel still in Congress while Duke Cunningham is in jail), and inflating alleged Republicans mis-steps is no longer a viable mass media model -- large chunks of the voting bloc, especially independent voters -- are now keenly aware of these tactics, and seek information on issues and candidates from non-MSM sources.

I hope that the politics of negative campaigning as opposed to campaigning on your platform of positive policy ideas no longer appeals to voters -- witness Scott Brown's positive campaign vs. Martha Coakley's standard aloof, negative, mudslinging operation.

    I remain hopeful.

  5. The Democrats have launched a website, The Accountability Project, which is intended to operate as a YouTube-style clearinghouse for crowdsourced videos of Republican candidates saying what they hope to be embarrassing things. Entry level opposition research as performed by the mob. Read more about it here: (shameless blog promotion) lilacsunday.blogspot.com/2010/07/word-for-day-crowdsourcing.html
