Son of Coffee Party

This post is not about The Coffee Party, because I know I'm not allowed to go there.

This post is about Son of Coffee Party (emphasis mine):
TV's Joe Scarborough, who today dismissed Sarah Palin as a symbol of "anti-intellectualism" with a "dopey dream" of being president, will help headline the launch next month of a new national group dedicated to restoring civility in politics.

Scarborough, a Republican, former Florida congressman and host of "Morning Joe" on MSNBC, will participate in the debut event of "No Labels" on December 13 at Columbia University in New York.

New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg is also expected to take part, along with an array of other self-described centrists, including retiring Sen. Evan Bayh (D-Ind.), Sen. Joe Lieberman, (I-Conn.), former Rep. Tom Davis (R-Va.), Rep. Chris Shays (R-Conn), Los Angeles's Democratic Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, Sen. Deb Stabenow (D-Mich.), former Gov. Christie Todd Whitman (R-N.J.) and former Rep. Sherwood Boehlert (R-N.Y.)
Jim Treacher notes the pathetic hypocrisy of Scarborough starting a group dedicated to civility just as Scarborough launched a malicious attack on Sarah Palin.

By the way, a certain unnamed group of people who cannot be mentioned sent their heart-felt greetings to No Label, and expressed their hope to work jointly with No Label in furthering the cause of blah-blah-blah-ism, look-at-me-ism, I'm-relevant-ism, and you-are-nasty-but-I-am-civil-ism.

I wish No Label all the success of that group which cannot be mentioned.

  1. That's a nice list of has been's they've got going there. Add in a former President and I'd bet they'd be on a winner.

  2. Look, all that want is a kinder, gentler way to be to make huge money deals behind-the-scenes. All this townhall anger stuff was making New York money queasy.

So what are they doing? Taking advantage of the Democrats weak message and the fact that Barack Obama is the President of the United States. They are trying to take the fact the Democrats message is so weak and tone deaf and make it as if they issues they are advocating for are in somehow in the best interests of the American public.
The ties that bind all of these people together is the odd underlying racial and American Revolutionary speeches these people associate with and their organizations are advocating for.

SAY NO TO CONERVATIVE THINK TANKS... SAY NO TO NO LABELS... STAND UP FOR YOUR BELIEFS and RIGHTS...

  6. This post just reminded me that when my daughter came back from Boston, the Saturday before the mid term elections, she had a brochure, given to her at the Common about the ballot questions, compliments of the Boston Coffee Party. I wanted to send it to you. I thought maybe you would enjoy their take on why the voters needed to vote yes on all three questions.

Son of Coffee Party was brilliant especially after those kind words He had for Sarah yesterday. Restore civilty to politics. Yawn, another George Soros group.

  7. No Labels?

At least Mr. Joe "I am offended by Palin’s attempt to build herself up by tearing down great men like Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush" Scarborough isn't participating in No Libels. That's be an irony too far, forcing some of us to form the group No Libbull. And so on and so forth.

  8. To each their own... We at the Prime Party are calling for an Official Boycott of No Labels and the Coffee Party Until they describe a platform for which they stand and set of ideal they believe in. http://www.facebook.com/pages/If-You-Are-A-Democrat-Say-NO-to-NO-Labels-and-NO-to-Coffee-Party/165806900124802?v=wall

  9. Boy, sometimes the strangest trolls come running in.

Actually, I was kind of enjoying the idea that the Coffee Party is just another failed lame astroturf attempt.
