You Can't Argue With Science!

Because the administration's energy positions are scientific, based on real science, by real scientists not brainless folks driven by ideological considerations.

Listen to the science!

And if the administration doesn't like the science! it just, well, as reported by Politico:

The White House rewrote crucial sections of an Interior Department report to suggest an independent group of scientists and engineers supported a six-month ban on offshore oil drilling, the Interior inspector general says in a new report.
Like I said, the administration's energy positions are scientific political, based on real science politics, by real scientists politicians not brainless folks driven by ideological considerations.

And in this case, it constituted a fraud on the court.

  1. There are few things more destructive to the US economy than stopping off-shore drilling.

China drills off the coast of Cuba (the same oil field by the way); pollution from drilling off the coast of Florida is no different than pollution elsewhere on the globe. NIMBY makes no sense here. The only outcome is the weakening of the US economy.

  2. Wow. Your co-blogger Kathleen sure dumped a load on your site.

Noonan is a powerful voice? No one cares what Noonan says; she's an air-head who has coasted on being a speechwriter for the greatest president of the last five decades.

  3. Modern science has devolved into nothing more than social manipulation.

  4. You can't argue with science, you can argue with scientists.

  5. And so, Professor, what are the repercussions, the consequences? The new GOP majority must investigate this IG report; but, they will have so many investigations coming that there won't be enough manpower to mangage them. *sigh* I am not holding my breath on this one....

BTW - I heartily second @Rob Crawford's post. My first reaction - WTF?! Really. "Palined"? Sounds like Ms. McCaffrey is a typical lib university student. What a load.
