Spitzed On

Alex Gibney, acclaimed documentary filmmaker, has turned his lens to Eliot Spitzer in a film titled "Client 9: The Rise and Fall of Eliot Spitzer." I'm sure the film will be worth seeing, if only as an exercise in Schadenfreude - though I learned two things in a WSJ Deal Journal interview that gave me a chuckle:

I. "Former targets of Spitzer’s prosecutions were 'only too happy to dance on Spitzer’s grave' for the documentary."
II. His former call girl is now a commodities trader on Wall Street.

Though if you don't feel like making it out to the theater to see Spitzer's smug mug disappear, watch Rand Paul's recent interview on Spitzer's new show! (Specifically at the 5:00 - 5:15 mark!)

  1. Good Lord, Professor! Don't send Parker Spitzer any traffic! The show is almost dead from the ratings news I'm reading. Let's let them finish their death spiral and be done with the two of them.

  2. "His former call girl is now a commodities trader on Wall Street."

    So...she hasn't really changed careers?

I can tell you that a number of Dick Strong's clients are more than happy to dance on Spitzer's grave as well. Spitzer did more damage to them than Strong ever could.
