Honduras Follows The Law

The Honduran Congress voted not to reinstate Manuel Zelaya pending the duly and recently elected President Porfirio Lobo taking office in January. That vote is consistent with the accord resolving the crisis.

There's not a lot I can add to my prior posts, and these commentaries from around the web:
Now the question is, will the Obama administration honor the accord it helped instigate, and the free and fair elections?

  1. I am so glad this is turning out good for the citizens of Honduras. I agree...Pound Sand Obama!

  2. Democracy wins in this case! It pains me that the once most democratic country in the world has a President who supports tyranny. We are stuck with this creature for three more years but in 2010 we can vote in a congress which can at least control his movement. They might start by refusing to fund Air force One! BB

  3. The US announced its 'disappointment' in the congressional vote. The OAS meets today at 3 p.m. EST. We'll see how that promise to honor a Honduran decision works out.

Naw, remember rule #1: Zelaya backs big union. And Rule #2: Obama is a tool for big union.

    Connect the dots!
