Remember, support for Obama is grassroots.
Grassroots.
Grassroots.
Opposition is purely astroturf.

Media Matters is getting ready for 2012 I see. The second page is the most telling to me.......How did you get a hold of this? Very interesting!!
ReplyDeleteInteresting job descriptions for new staff assignments at Media Matters...
ReplyDelete1. Jeremy Schulman will become Director of the Media Matters Investigative Team, a newly created position that will manage Media
Matters’ investigative research and reporting, focusing on exposing unethical and dishonest practices by Fox News and the rest of the right-wing media.
2. Ilyse Hogue, currently Campaign Director for MoveOn, will join Media Matters as a Senior Adviser responsible for coordinating programs that undercut the impact of the right-wing media machine.
3. Alex Lawson will lead a new project at Media Matters working to expose the intersection between violent rhetoric, extremist violence, and the easy availability of firearms and munitions.
4. Matt Finkelstein will be editor of PoliticalCorrection.org, Media Matters Action Network’s blog and research hub.
"It looks like David Brock is getting more serious about building a powerful apparatus on the left to go head-to-head with the flood of outside money conservative groups are planning to pump into the 2012 elections.
ReplyDeleteI'm told that Brock has made some major staff shifts within his Media Matters empire in preparation for 2012, shifting key staff over to a new third-party spending vehicle he's created to spend big money on campaigns this cycle, which is called American Bridge."

David Brock's big-money outside group gains steam

Back when my husband was still a Democrat (sort of) he prevailed upon me to read Brock's "Blinded by the Right: The Conscience of an Ex-Conservative" ... yawn: I got two-thirds of the way through (only owing to wanting to please my husband). Boring. But, no conservative can afford to underestimate the enemies of freedom...
