Best Laugh In Days

Robert Stacy McCain has a hilarious post about being threatened by the lawyer for someone no one has ever heard of because McCain questioned whether that no one really knew someone else no one has ever heard of.

How many nobodies does it take to result in a nasty lawyer letter?

Update: I spoke too soon.  One of the nobodies I have heard of, I just didn't recognize the name.  He's the guy who sandbagged Gen. McChrystal in Rolling Stone.  He's not the one with the nasty lawyer letter, it's the other guy who claims to be best buddies with the sandbagger.  So an allegation that one may not be best buddies with a sandbagger constitutes defamatory?  Sounds like a compliment to me.

  1. Go ahead and laugh, professor. I'm laughing, too, but my wife is worried sick.

"Don't worry, dear, it's just a twerp threatening a libel suit, which is what twerps do."

    But she's still worried.
