Van Jones Resigns; Who Will They Go After Next?Good question, but it depends on what the meaning of "they" is. According to Keith Olbermann and Gene Robinson, the next White House official to be targeted for removal is Barack Obama, and the "they" doing it will be progressive Democrats:
On Thursday night, MSNBC's Keith Olbermann and Washington Post columnist Gene Robinson discussed the political ramifications for President Obama, including a possible primary challenge in 2012 presidential election, if the public option is dropped from the health care overhaul.Seriously, does the progressive caucus have any mood other than a foul mood? Who knew that defeating the public option would be all it would take to make Obama a one-term President?
Olbermann asked Robinson, "What good does it profit a man to win a bill and lose the base of his party?" Robinson warned that Obama should tread carefully on health care reform and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan because "you don't want to see the progressive caucus in a foul mood."
Rasmussen estimates that the most likely tool to remove Obama will be a renewed Hillary Clinton campaign. That should be fun to watch.
According to Olbermann in the video, the progressive caucus would search for an alternative to Obama "no matter how destructive that might seem at face value." You go Keith!

This is the first time I was glad I lived in the Pacific time zone...
ReplyDeleteI really didn't believe he would resign and now I'm eating crow. Happy crow, but crow non the less.
It is funny to see the left flinching over their people being targeted, like they never did that before. Hey, if they want to play, we'll play.
ReplyDeleteThe great thing about Obama is his administration, hidden by the MSM during the campaign can't hide any longer. It is a target rich environment. I liken it to the Marianas Turkey shoot in the Pacific during WWII.
Let's go weapons free and dump some bogeys into the sea.
(Man, I have to quit watching the Military Channel!)
I hope they do go for someone even further to the left than President Stupidly is, next time. But who the heck is that? Pete Stark? Bernie Sanders? Dennis Kucinich? Cynthia McKinney? Maxine Waters? Unbelievably, as Marxist/nutty/stupid as those are (at least 1 of the 3 applies to all), someone please convince me Obama is not the most lefty politician in this country in (past) word and deed, if not current word.
ReplyDeleteYeah, that's what the majority of this country wants, despite the Nov. vote - someone MORE radical as president. Again, I hope they go for this. I'm more afraid they'll go for Hillary.
I'm so happy we got this truther, anti-semetic, wierdo finally out. The best thing the Republicans can do now is not pick a front runner for the MSM to crucify. Someone sitting on the sidelines achieving great things like Bobby Jindale is our best hope to dislodge the dictator.
ReplyDeleteIt won't make a bit of difference WHO Republicans choose, it has to be someone tough because the MSM WILL be coming after them. We the people have to understand that before we go forward.
ReplyDeleteWe know who THEY are and what THEY're after. Dave Patterson told us days ago.
