Saturday Morning Tiger Speculation

Pulls out of his driveway at 2:25 a.m., driving fast enough to cause serious injury when he hits a fire hydrant and tree near his home. No alchohol involved. Likely verdict:

In massive fight with his wife, and drove off like a bat out of hell because he was pissed.
Just my speculation, having been married for 25 years.

Update: Looks like I'm late to this.

  1. That was the first thing I thought of, too. I feel bad for the guy. He's always seemed like a decent sort. If we have a fight with our wives, it doesn't get plastered all over the news media.

  2. OK I also felt that he had had a fight with his wife. As the day went on, it appears that there might be charges files for spousal abuse. It is not quite clear if Tiger's wife was strong enough to smash the rear window.

But was he trying to end his life. He saw the tree but ran over the fire hydrant trying to it the tree. Grim, eh?

  3. If his wife smacked him around causing him to leave the house rather than hit her (that's always a good idea), he deserved it -- but only if the allegation of infidelity is true. You would think that his dad taught him a vow is a vow. Unbreakable. If the allegation isn't true, then Tiger is the man his dad raised him to be: better kill yourself than raise your hand to a woman.

On another note, Dude, when are you going to fix your comments?

  4. anyone know what par is for an Escalade?
