Charges of racism can't be taken seriously when made by people who are overtly racist themselves.

Of course, I don't think that that that's the "frank" discussion of race that AG Holder was referring too.Soccer Dadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16142724823098073038noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1522121129844880066.post-58242836176851238362010-08-08T19:11:38.393-04:002010-08-08T19:11:38.393-04:00LWB?

It's especially amusing to me in light of the fact that the CBC denied membership to New Orleans Congressman Anh "Joseph" Cao, the first Congressman of Vietnamese heritage. Of course, his attempt to join the Black Caucus struck me as a little odd at the time (and still does). Cao explained his attempt to join the Caucus as a means to represent the bulk of his constituency better. I guess it's a little like the Ryker's Island thing.

Ah -- the machinations that politicians will endeavor.Moogie Phttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05665429537064900337noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1522121129844880066.post-9074871839487086342010-08-08T12:57:27.942-04:002010-08-08T12:57:27.942-04:00I rather liked the "I'm the only [fill in...I rather liked the "I'm the only [fill in the blank] who works here" card...LTC Johnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06423057539370247167noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1522121129844880066.post-4235885412936320712010-08-08T10:19:22.261-04:002010-08-08T10:19:22.261-04:00For a while, I've been posting my version of t...For a while, I've been posting my version of the Liberal creed in my comments:

Above all, Liberalism!

Above that, Obama!

I believe it will apply here. The CBC can pull the race card all they want. Which is classic Liberalism. But if it comes down to the fact that Obama wants these two gone, and it looks to be the case with Rangle at least, then Liberalism is out the window and Obama must be obeyed.Van Halenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16636153816814457813noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1522121129844880066.post-15348035408859313182010-08-08T08:20:13.036-04:002010-08-08T08:20:13.036-04:00The race card has gotten used so much that its now...The race card has gotten used so much that its now a punchline.William A Manninghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07194676936324150728noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1522121129844880066.post-34749482242812617152010-08-08T00:21:04.376-04:002010-08-08T00:21:04.376-04:00I'm honored! Funny and all too true.

The best part, IMHO, was when the "Senior Black Correspondent" reveals the real reason for all the cards: everyone is a "victim" and looking for a way to avoid being held accountable. There was a book written years ago on this topic called Nation of Victims. The race card is indeed maxed out.

Great comedy. From the usually left Stewart!
