I started paying much closer attention to organizations like this, and just how leftist they have become yet claim they are nonpartisan. I am probably more tilted left than most on this blog who comment, but I consider myself independent minded, and I do support many right of center, conservative, especially limited govt positions.

"In fact, the League long ago lost its neutrality, having made a national Board decision to engage in issue advocacy, but the public perception lived on."

I doubt this is the case as much now a days, I have family members who were member of this organization, they left in 2009, I have donated to this legue of women's organization, my local chapter, but after seeing this display of complete hypocrasisy, its pretty clear to see they are nothing but an extension of the dem. party.

and the response is hiliarios, so they claim they are nonpartisan yet they are political, so not are they at least honest, but they seem pretty stupid, they like NOW, all claim they are for women, etc, but its only liberal women, conservative, centerist women, well they can be thrown under the bus.

Its pretty sad they don't recognize just how little credibility they have left and even their former supporters like me have seen through them. They will keep chugging along without having a clue that they have been exposed, but more and more people will see through them.Timhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13642408857495033895noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1522121129844880066.post-28339656908605867742011-05-14T05:13:20.978-04:002011-05-14T05:13:20.978-04:00Don't get stuck on 'air pollution'. The League does not support any political party or candidate. Neither of the senators targeted is a candidate; although we can assume these politicians will run for re-election next year. (Politicians are always running for re-election.) The League has often held office holders accountable for their votes, going all the way back to votes in Congress for and against the 19th amendment. So this is nothing new.Normanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12508275288888817714noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1522121129844880066.post-57187279580040773812011-05-13T20:36:52.338-04:002011-05-13T20:36:52.338-04:00When I first registered to vote it was through the...When I first registered to vote it was through the LVW (my first vote was for Reagan).

Then, last fall, at a debate between Melissa Bean (then inc.
