The liberal's penchant for throwing mone...Yup. The liberal's penchant for throwing money at problems and hoping they'll go away knows no bounds. Any high schooler can understand that building a bridge or a road or an airport in the middle of nowhere is not a solution to our economic problems or even to the massive job losses. People don't need a job for a few months, they need actual jobs that will sustain them and their families (and increasingly every family in the U. S.). "Shovel ready" has to be up there with the stupidest talking points ever (not quite as bad as jobs that have been "created or saved" in Narnia, Wonderland, and Oz . . . but right up there).

It is indicative of exactly what is wrong with this administration: they are defensive, short-term thinkers. No jobs? Grab a shovel. Middle class angry? Toss some credits at them. Terrorists still (inexplicably!) bent on our destruction? Well, let's not rush to judgment on that one. People upset about the government takeovers and bail-outs? Tax the banks (and ignore GM, the student loan industry, and the attempts to takeover healthcare). Any other problems? Set up a commission or hold a summit. Have you ever seen such complete and short-sighted incompetence on every single issue? Well, since Carter?Fuzzy Slippershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13021615731454709413noreply@blogger.com
